We specialise in preparing  and racing top of the line race cars from Audi and Porsche bristling with the latest technology, our race team prides itself on having the ability to provide all the services involved with racing at the highest level.

We have all the equipment to do car setups, advanced engineering, and fabrication work, the race shop is equipped with a reconditioning division for race engine’s and gearbox’s  which is approved by Porsche for GT3 Cup engines as well as servicing and re-building of Audi GT3 LMS gearboxes.

The team also has professional fabricators approved by Motorsport NZ to install race car roll cages, exhaust systems and fabrication work to “Schedule A” level.

Our advanced shock absorber dyno testing and reporting rig is also available for adjustments or diagnosis of a problems with your suspension.

We have also build complete race cars as seen with the highly successful BMW race cars of the 90s, the 2000’s Caltex NZV8 Team with Angus Fogg and Paul Pedersen and of late the new high-tech Nissan GTR R35 endurance race car that we are running in the National Endurance series.

The team at IMS racing continue to grow our endurance racing portfolio in New Zealand and Internationally, as shown at the 2017 Bathurst 12 Hour, and 2018 Phillip Island 101, IMS racing are one of few New Zealand based teams fully equipped to run race cars at a world class level and we often compete alongside the Factory teams.
